So today was the first day of gymnastics. Just a tip...if you need a laugh, one that makes your belly hurt and tears stream down your face. Enroll your twins in gymnastics at age 3. All you have to do is sit back and let the magic happen. Oh, goodness. It was hysterical. Jessica paid total attention, went to her appropriate stations and even pointed her toes at some part in the class. She gleefully clapped for herself, laughed and got so nervous if any other kid came near her. Katie on the other hand...let's just say Katie gets ummm...what's the word...distracted. She wandered off into the big girls classes, she only wanted to jump on the trampoline and walk sideways on the balance beam. She really liked her outfit and the fact that Grammie, Papa and I were in the audience. She could not follow the instructions but was happy happy happy about all the things she was doing right OR wrong. It was great. They loved it. Katie's quote at the end of the class was: "mama, gymnastics my FAVORITE day of the whole day." Jessica came out of the class with a big frown..."i want to do gymnastics some MORE" Once I promised her we could come back again she was fine. They got to go to Chick FilA for dinner after gymnastics and let me tell ya...they were pretty cute. And funny. And clumsy. And totally unstructured. And totally blissfully happy. GO GYMNASTICS.

soo cute! we really do need to get together, cause ryan would love love love to baby the girls, (even tho they are clearly "grown")! i bet they just love their leotards! that's the best part of gymnastics!! i am going to call you. katie lou retton...that is just too funny aims.
They are so cute. I bet they are so fun to watch do their stuff. I can't wait to see their performance at the reunion. Is the picture at the top of your blog photoshoped? The color is amazing. You are really getting good. Love ya
